LEADING tour operator Falcon Holidays has launched its very first online interactive game: ‘Passport Challenge’.

The HTML 5 interactive will test user’s knowledge of the culture and history of six of Falcon’s destinations, and one lucky winner will receive a €500 travel voucher.

Competition: Win £200 worth of travel vouchers now

The interactive game has been created in collaboration with digital marketing agency Caliber, and is the first project of its kind undertaken by Falcon, which will engage visitors to the site in a fun activity beyond the site’s usual sales offering.

Players of the game will be presented with 12 rather challenging questions, covering six countries. If the user gets all the questions right for one country, they will get a stamp in their virtual passport.

Players who manage to score three passport stamps or above will be allowed to enter a prize draw, where one name drawn out of the hat will win €500 towards a Falcon holiday.

“The Passport Challenge is the first piece of fun interactive content that we have put on the Falcon site,” said Charlotte Brenner, Marketing Manager at Falcon, “and we’re hoping that this marks the start of a new, fun direction for the Falcon site, where people will come for destination inspiration as well as booking their annual holiday with us.”

The game is just one part of Falcon’s digital strategy. Working together with Caliber, they have also recently launched an online blog which features travel tips and unique insights into Falcon’s most popular destinations.

Users can play Passport Challenge at http://blog.falconholidays.ie/passport-challenge/.

The competition will run until 9th February 2014.
