WATCH: Six-year-old Irish-Australian skater girl goes viral with video of incredible skills

AN IRISH-AUSTRALIAN girl has wowed audiences across the globe with her incredible skills on a skateboard.

Six-year-old Paige Tobin has gone viral worldwide after a video of her dropping into and skating a 12-foot bowl in New South Wales was picked up and shared across social media, including Facebook, Twitter and Reddit.

Paige's parents share videos of her performing tricks Tony Hawk would be envious of, expertly careering around a deep bowl alongside those older and more experienced than her, all the while looking like the whole thing is as natural as breathing.

Her videos have been shared far and wide, with many in awe of the girl who boasts more than 176,000 followers on Instagram.

The most famous video, shared last week, has garnered over 1.2 million likes on the photo-sharing site.

Wearing a pink princess dress and sparkly shoes,  rainbow socks and a leopard print helmet, Paige proves that neither age nor gender matters when you have a passion-- and serious talent-- for sport.

"That's how a real bad-ass princess looks like!" one person commented, while another wrote "Makes me want to relive my youth and be as cool as her!"

Paige lives in New South Wales, Australia with her family, but her roots stem back to Ireland if her surname is anything to go by-- the surname Tobin, or Tóibín, was established in Ireland in the 12th century.

There are well over 2 million people in Australia with Irish ancestry-- just over 10% of the entire population of Australia.
