GAME show host Ben Shepherd was left gob-smacked after a contestant confused Greek poet Homer with his Simpson namesake.
The host of British game show Tipping Point looked stunned as he realised the contestant's error.
Shepherd then couldn't contain his laughter as a second contestant also made the same mistake.

The hilarious scene played out on the episode aired on Britain's ITV channel on Monday, October 25.
In the coin pusher-themed quiz, schoolteacher Dom was posed the question: "In his epic poems, Homer often refers to nectar as the drink of the gods and which other substance as their food?"
Dom chose to answer the question rather than pass to fellow contestant Linzi, a decision that ensured TV gold.
"I know he likes doughnuts," began Dom confidently, before appearing to have second thoughts as he saw a look of realisation spread across host Shepherd's face.
"I think I'll go with doughnuts please, Ben," finished Dom, now less sure.
Biting his lip, Shepherd reminded Dom that he could have passed to Linzi, who offered the icing on the cake.
"I would have said doughnuts as well," said Linzi.
"Beer and doughnuts, right up Homer's street."
Shepherd couldn't keep from laughing at that point, going on to explain that it wasn't the cartoon character Homer the question was referring to but the Greek poet behind the Iliad and the Odyssey.
"No, it's not doughnuts, it's ambrosia," said Shepherd.
"Homer, of course, poet, scholar, bard, philosopher.
"Not Homer Simpson, who works in a nuclear factory, drinks beer and likes doughnuts.
"Easy to confuse both Homers."
Clips of the slip-up have since been viewed millions of times on social media.
