BIG MICK saying exactly what every fan is thinking.
All six Premier League clubs have withdrawn from the European Super League, and it seems as though the idea is being completely rethought by the powers that be.
Fans and footballing personalities around the world have celebrated the news, and nobody seems happier than former Irish manager Mick McCarthy.
The Cardiff City boss said that he is "delighted" that the Premier League clubs have pulled out, and that the fans have won.
"I love it when the underdog wins. It's brilliant. The little fella has bit the big fella," McCarthy said.
"Having been an underdog on a lot of occasions, I love it when the underdog wins.
"The little fella has really bit the big fella and I got a real kick out of that, I've got to tell you.
"I love it that the fans have won."
He continued: "The arrogance and hubris of billionaires who think they can come in and change what's been here for over 100 years... I'm so happy what's happened."

McCarthy's comments come after his former employer, the FAI, also condemned the formation of the Super League.
FAI President Gerry McAnaney said: "I have confirmed to UEFA that we stand with them in their stance against this Super League proposal. The integrity of the game is at stake here and such an elitist competition cannot be considered."
