THE PERFECT role model for the young people of Ireland and across the world.
Last Saturday night saw Katie Taylor defeat Natasha Jonas in a magnificent fight to ensure she remained the undisputed lightweight champion of the world.
The judges in London awarded the fight 96-94, 96-95, 96-95 in Taylor's favour, and Jonas' performance was extremely strong, particularly in the early rounds.
And despite some tetchy comments in the leadup to the fight, Jonas and her team were perfectly respectable after the decision was awarded.
This shows in some behind the scenes footage shared by Sky Sports, that shows Taylor and Jonas getting on well with each other, just moments after going to war.
The two are full of compliments for the each other, as are both of the ladies' coaches, one of whom suggests that a third fight between the pair might have to be on the cards.
🤝RIVALRY FORGOTTEN🤝

Far more gracious in victory than other high profile fighters...
The rematch between the two came nine years after their thrilling bout at the London 2012 Olympics, where Taylor was crowned victorious.
And due to the close nature of this rematch, and the evident close relationship between both fighters, a third fight would not be surprising at all.
Promoter Eddie Hearn was so impressed by the fight that he wants to see a rematch in front of a sold out stadium.
Huge respect to both! Let’s see it again in front of a sold out arena!!! #TaylorJonas
