BRIAN Patrick Byrne thought he'd film his parents' reaction to him turning up at their home unannounced to surprise his mum on her birthday.
And it worked.
Brian, who resides in Israel, but is from Clonmel, had been away from home a long time.
First he greets his mother at the door, who is simultaneously shocked but delighted.
He then goes around to the back of the house to sneak up on his unsuspecting father, who nearly has a heart attack.
"I surprised my entire family with a long overdue trip home to Ireland, and caught the entire thing on camera," Brian wrote on YouTube.
"Stick around for my dad's hilarious reaction at the end!"
