How did you get started in music?

When I was 7 years old I learnt to play guitar.

What are your Irish roots?

I have family from Belfast who emigrated to County Durham.

Groundhog Day

What is your favourite place in Ireland?

Dublin

What books are on your bedside table at the minute?

None. I use audible. I’m listening to unbound by Kasia Urbaniak. I need to get back into reading proper books though.

In terms of inanimate objects, what is your most precious possession?

My keyboard

What’s the best thing about where you live?

The people

. . . . and the worst?

Probably the town centre, it’s awful and all the shops have closed. I live in Northampton.

What’s the greatest lesson life has taught you?

What feels like failure now is simply a lesson you’ve learnt for the future.

What do you believe in?

I believe in love, friendship, the universe and a higher power

What do you consider the greatest work of art?

Every single human being is a work of art, completely unique.

Who/what is the greatest love of your life?

Music is the greatest love of my life. Music never lets me down.
