Barnsley
Saturday, March 15 - Treebeard St Patrick’s Day concert
Celebrate St Patrick’s Day with a set of traditional and contemporary Irish tunes from this acoustic-rock five-piece. The Millers Inn, Barugh Green. 8pm.
Bristol
Friday, March 14 - St Patrick’s Dance
Bristol Irish Society hosts a special dance with North of Ireland country pair Ally Harron and Marian Curry along with a display by The O’Malley School of Irish Dancing. The BAWA Club Ballroom, Southmead Road, Filton. 8.30pm-12.30pm. £15/£10.
Sunday, March 16 - St Patrick’s Parade
With the Avon Glen Pipe Band. Parade sets off at 1pm from The City Academy, Russell Town Avenue, Lawrence Hill. Entertainment follows from 2-7pm in The Brooks Hall, St. Patrick’s, Blackswarth Road. Music from Peel Your Own Spuds until 5pm. Irish dancing, Irish stew and colcannon a licensed bar and raffle. Adults £5/Children £3/ Under 5’s free.

St Patrick’s Parade and Festival
Annual parade, open-air concert and series of activities and events for adults and kids. Parade leaves the Forest Recreation Ground at noon, marching along Mansfield Road towards the city centre, before reaching the Old Market Square. Free open air concert throughout the afternoon showing the best of Irish traditional music, song and dance. Entertainment in the Old Market Square runs 11am-4pm.
