President Higgins' state visit extended to accommodate concert at Royal Albert Hall

The President's impending State Visit is now expected to run over four days, as Buckingham Palace revealed an evening concert entitled Ceiliúradh' or 'Celebration' will take place at The Royal Albert Hall on Thursday, April 10.

Due to the additional cultural event due to be held in the President's honour, it is expected that he will now arrive on Monday, April 7 and will not leave Britain before Friday, April 11.
