THE Norn Irish twang is the second sexiest accent in the entire United Kingdom, according to a new survey.
A poll of 1.5 million people found that only the people of Essex (you what?) speak with a saucier intonation than those in Northern Ireland.
That's no mean feat for the North given that there are no less than 56 recognised regional accents across the UK and Ireland.
The new survey, carried out by Big 7 Travel, ranked the top 50 sexiest accents across the UK.

Joining Essexian and Northern Irish in the top 5 were Glaswegian, the Queen's English and Mancunian – while the Brummie twang pronounced by our friends in Birmingham came rock bottom, and hardly for the first time in an accent poll.
Of the Northern Irish brogue, the travel firm wrote: "The Jamie Dornan-esque Northern Irish accent has our readers in love – or lust with NI. Probably just lust."
As for the sexiest Norn Irish accent of all? Well, who could forget this absolute legend...
