HOW MUCH do you love your partner?
Do you love them enough that you would be willing to stand for the entirety of a six-hour flight just so your special someone can enjoy a decent sleep?
That’s the question being posed after a photo was uploaded to Twitter of a man standing for the duration of his flight.
His chivalrous efforts were captured by Courtney Lee Johnson, who had nothing but respect for the man.
“This guy stood up the whole 6 hours so his wife could sleep,” he tweeted.

The man’s efforts are made all the more impressive for the fact he:
- Doesn’t appear to be listening to music or a podcast.
- Is not reading a book to pass the time either.
That means this selfless passenger is passing the time simply looking into the distance.
Given his position, it’s unlikely he’s even able to look out the window, in a detail that only adds to the romantic nature of his gesture.
Not everyone is quite so enamoured though.
"If that is love then I rather be lonely," one person wrote under the tweet.
"That's not love, his wife is selfish and he is weak," another said.
