IRELAND HAS been named among the 10 most romantic Instagrammable destinations in the world.
The Irish countryside was singled out for praise as part of the new research but together by travel instagram's Holiday Guru.
Citing the "rolling hills of the Ring of Kerry" and "stunning coastlines of Donegal" the study saw Ireland's natural countryside sneak into the top 10.
An established favourite of social media fanatics the world over, Holiday Guru also noted the Emerald Isle's breath-taking Cliffs of Moher serve as the perfect spot to stop for a selfie with that special someone.
London bagged top spot in the countdown just ahead of Paris, Barcelona, and Rome with Bali rounding off the top 5.
Perhaps surprisingly America failed to feature on the list, despite the likes of New York being an enduring destination for loved-up couples down the years.

This new study could soon see boyfriends booking trips to the likes of Kerry, Donegal or Clare in an attempt to woo a romantic partner.
