Floats, displays, Irish dancing, traditional music and The City of Limerick Pipe and Drum Band all make up the Huddersfield St Patrick’s Parade.
Route: Begins Huddersfield City Centre, pausing at St Georges Square for special performances and thence to Huddersfield Irish Centre.

Leeds St Patrick’s Day Parade
The parade leaves the Millennium Square at 11am. The Leeds St Patrick’s Day Parade is in its 17th year, a veritable celebration of all things Irish.
Route: Begins Cookridge Street, followed by an afternoon of Irish cultural events in Millennium Square

SHEFFIELD
Thursday, March 17
Sheffield Irish Association will host the city’s St Patrick’s Day festivities this year on the day itself, March 17.
A Mass will take place at St Marie’s Cathedral from 12.30 to 1.30pm followed by a parade from the cathedral to the town hall, where Irish dancing and music await those taking part. A reception in honour of Ireland’s patron saint will then take place later in the town hall.

TYNESIDE
Friday, March 18
Tyneside Irish Brigade St Patrick’s Dinner & Dance
The Tyneside Irish Brigade was a British First World War infantry brigade of Kitchener’s Army, raised in 1914. The association keeps alive memories of the brigade, and the Irishmen who served, many of whom were killed. During the dinner music will be provided by a piper and harpist; afterwards the Tony Corcoran Band will provide the music for a hooley.

York Irish Association’s St Patrick’s Festival
The festival features music, sessions, buskers, dance, storytelling, food stalls, face-painting and all manner of craic. Acts include Diad, Roisín Ban, Paula Ryan, the Flying Donkeys, Gemma Irving, the O’Connor Academy of Irish Dance, with céilí music from Fiddlers Wreck and the New Fox Band.
