OVER the last couple of months, bands and performers have been battling it out for the chance to win a slot on the main stage at this year’s St Patrick’s Day Festival in London.
The best four acts, as selected by a panel of judges, will perform for the crowds on Sunday, March 15 on Trafalgar Square’s main stage.
The overall winner – which will be chosen by the audience on the day – will also be awarded a £500 prize.
The lucky winner follows in a long and prestigious line-up of musicians who have performed at previous London St Patrick’s Day Festival, such as Damien Dempsey, The Coronas, Divine Comedy, Sharon Shannon and The Saw Doctors.

And there's still time to enter - Performers will need to be either of Irish descent or have an Irish-inspired performance and be able to song, dance or provide something unique.
To enter, acts will need to supply:
1. A link to one original song on SoundCloud
2. A link to a video of yourself performing live (even if it's only recored in a bedroom)
3. A 300 word biog
4. A photo of the act
