From 11am on Saturday March 15 Coatbridge town centre was transformed into a vibrant, colourful carnival in honour of St Patrick’s Day.
Music and dance was on offer from two stages, located at the bottom of St. John Street and next to the Quadrant Centre, while the afternoon offered street entertainment and fun for all the family.
Coatbridge's Irish community came out in force to celebrate Ireland's national day at the town's annual Family Day and at events held in the weeks leading up to the big event. Photos:
