St. Joseph’s GAA Club

Training continues every Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm in Perivale Park Sports Ground.

Croydon Camogie

Croydon Camogie club is based in South London. We have both Junior and Senior teams. Training takes place twice weekly in Poulter Park, Mitcham and games are played at weekends.

The 2015 season has kicked off with the spring league which combines both senior and junior players in the same teams. Croydon’s Celts have received maximum points from their first three games while the Gaels have won two out of three games.

Juvenile training for 5-15 year old girls has started on Monday evenings from 6.30pm to 7.30pm in Poulter Park. If you would like to know more please contact Rita on 07853 963137.

London Youth Committee

The next London Youth Committee meeting will take place on Monday, May 18 at 8.30pm at The Emerald GAA Grounds at Ruislip. Meetings will continue to be held on the third Monday of every month.

We would like to have representatives from all clubs around London at our Youths meetings to share views and ideas with all London clubs.

Girls Underage Football - Tir Chonaill Gaels GFC were hosts to the first in the season’s underage Girls Development Day in Greenford. A big thanks to Fiona and Annmarie and Claire Tir Chonaill Gaels Ladies who were on hand to referee all the games.

Peter McGlynn Tournament: There was a fantastic turn out at Greenford over the weekend at the annual Peter McGlynn Memorial Tournament. Congratulations to Parnells, the overall winners of the main competition, and to shield winners St. Kiernan's and to Tara's who were winners of the plate. A total of 267 participants on the day including the youth blitz with the U6's - U10's created a great exhibition of Gaelic Football on the day. A special word of thanks to Michael and Margaret McGlynn for making the trip back from Donegal to attend the tournament and to all who helped out prior to and on the day.

Guess The Score: London will take on Roscommon in the Connacht SFC on the Sunday, May 24 at The Emmerald GAA Grounds in Ruislip. Guess the score sheets have gone out to all the clubs £1 Per Line. Winner or nearest score will receive a prize of £250 or split equally if more that one winner. If you can try sell as many as possible as all funds will help toward the funding for the London Youths Development in London for Football/Hurling.

The London GAA Development Academy for 2015 - We have now completed our 10 week training programme with the London GAA Development Squad and our panel of players for the season ahead has been finalised.

Parnells Minor GFC

Membership is now due, please return forms with your subs at your earliest so that this year's training apparel can be distributed to you.

Parnells GFC are looking for girls in Years 3-7 to join them this season. First training session starts on May 14 at Northwick Park Playing Fields 7pm-8pm. Contact Liam Moffatt on 07792 240805 or at [email protected] for further details.

Can you predict the Connacht, Leinster, Munster, and Ulster Champions? Can you predict the All Ireland Winner - get your entry forms from all club committee members and you could be onto a winner. £10 entry and you win £500 - and all the time you are supporting your club!

Training is back outside at Northwick Park on the following nights:
U 6/U8/U10s every Wednesday from 6.30pm, girls training also from 6.30pm, U 12 / 14 every Thursday from 6.30pm, U16 every Tuesday from 7pm.

Tara Youths

Training at Sudbury Court, East Lane, Wembley, HA0 3LE continues every Friday evening starting from U6's 6.30pm till 7.30pm and for the U8/10/12's and girls till 8pm at Sudbury Court, East Lane, Wembley, HA0 3LE.

The U14/U16/U18's training continues on Wednesdays at 7pm in Jubilee Park. Please ensure that all the youths are registered, as they will then be covered by the GAA insurance.

Well done to all the children from our club in the U8/10's/13's who attended the Peter McGlynn tournament last Saturday at Tir Chonaill Gaels.

Tara Youths will be having their first of many golf days on Saturday, May 23 at Stanmore Golf Club which will become an annual event.  The cost per team is £200 or sponsorship starting at £50 per hole, Monies raised from this event will be used in support of Tara Youths GFC to enable them to travel to Mayo to take participate in an U12 tournament. Registrations will be at 1pm and Tee off at 1.30pm followed by a buffet and prize giving at 7.30pm.

Thomas McCurtains 

Thomas McCurtains are holding a table quiz in Tommy Flynns Pub, Leytonstone on May 22 at 8pm fundraising for the men's, ladies and hurling teams.

Men’s football training continues Tuesday and Thursday in Goodmayes at 7.30pm.

The footballers played the preliminary round 2 of the Championship on Sunday, May 10 against Eire Og. The final score was Thomas McCurtains 1-09, Eire Og, 2-11.

The Footballers will play their McArdle Cup Final on Saturday, May 16 in Ruislip at 5.00pm against St Clarets and the following Saturday, May 23 in Downhills Park at 3.30pm against Tir Chonaill Gaels in the Second Round of the Division Three League.

Men’s hurling training continues Tuesday and Thursday in Goodmayes at 7.30pm.

Ladies training continues in East London Rugby Club (E15 3BP) Tuesday 7pm and Goodmayes pitch Thursday 7pm.

A successful start to the ladies Championship campaign with a win over St Anthony's, 1-19 to 3-9.

Moindearg

We played Garryowen in the preliminary second round of the Intermediate Football Championship last Saturday afternoon at Greenford losing 1-14 2-09.  We now turn our attention to the League, where we begin our campaign this Sunday against Cuchulainns with a 4pm throw in at Greenford.

Training continues on Tuesday night at Wormwood Scrubs from 7.30pm.

Garryowen

We have had to alter our training schedule for the next couple of weeks, we will revert back to our regular Tuesday, May 26. Training takes place in Downhills Park, N17 6AP on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s at 7.45pm.

Tir Chonaill Gaels

In memory of our late club chairman, the Andy Duffy Memorial Cup Tournament will take place on the Saturday of the Bank Holiday Weekend at Tir Chonaill Gaels, scheduled start time of 1pm.

Holloway Gaels

Training takes place Monday and Wednesday evenings at 7pm and on Saturday mornings at 10am at Downhills Park N17 6AP. If interested in coming training please contact [email protected]. All new players welcome.

Holloway Gaels will host a race night on Saturday, June 20 in the Quays of Holloway Road.

The club is delighted to announce it will be participating in the Gaelic4girls programme; welcoming girls aged 8-12 to join the club. This will run as an 8-week programme aimed at increasing participation in Ladies Gaelic Football. It will be held in Downhills Park every Saturday from 10.30am-11.30am starting Saturday, May 23.
