Parnells

On a beautiful sunny evening in Greenford, Parnells got off to a winning start 8-15 to 0-7 in the first round of the U16 League.

Parnells GFC are looking for girls in Years 3-7 to join them this season. First training session starts on May 14 at Northwick Park Playing Fields (7pm-8pm). All welcome - contact Liam Moffatt on 07792240805 or at [email protected].

The club would like to extend their sympathies to the family friends colleagues and pupils of Mr James Pettifer a teacher at Sacred Heart Language College who died suddenly on Friday April 17. Condolences also to the family of John Ryan, brother in law of Colin McGuinness and to Mrs Duncan mother of Tony Duncan and grandmother of Sean and Liam may they rest in peace.

Kilburn Gaels

Have you moved over from Ireland and want to play hurling, then come along and join Kilburn Gaels the County Champions, London's' biggest and most vibrant hurling club. London Youth Committee

The next meeting London Youth Committee meeting will take place on Monday, May 18 at 8.30pm at The Emerald GAA Grounds at Ruislip. Meetings will continue to be on the third Monday of every month. The London Youths Committee would like to extend their sympathies to all the families and friends of the late Chris Kiely (Dulwich Harps), Geraldine Burke (Wife of Liam Burke, Tir Chonaill Gaels), James Pettifer, Mrs Duncan (Parnells mother of Tony Duncan and grandmother of Sean and Liam ) John Ryan husband of Jackie Ryan formely from Co Wexford.

Tara Youths

Training will continue every Friday from 6.30pm till 7.30pm for the U6, and until 8pm for all other age groups at Sudbury Court, East Lane, Wembley, HA0 3LE.

The annul Tara’s Senior GFC Golf Day is taking place on Saturday, May 2 at Mill Hill Golf Course. Anybody interested in sponsoring a hole or entering a team is asked to contact our chairman Declan Kelly 07852716320 or our Secretary Paddy McKenna 07807164984.

St. Joseph’s 

Our next game sees us play Harlesden Harps in Round 1 of the preliminary rounds of the Intermediate Football Championship on Saturday, May 2, at 3pm in Greenford.

Training continues every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:30pm sharp in Perivale Park Sports Ground. New players are welcome to join us. The nearest Tube station is Greenford (Central Line), a 10-minute walk away. If you need a lift, please call 07956666979.

Moindearg GFC

We played St Joseph’s in the Final of the Murphy Cup on Saturday in Ruislip losing by a goal. Congratulations to St Joseph’s who were deserved winners on the day.

Training continues on Tuesday at Wormwood Scrubs from 7.30pm.

Thomas McCurtains

There will be a mass on Sunday, May 3 in St Vincent's Church at 12pm for former club president Bill Treacy and all deceased club members.

Men’s football training continues Tuesdays in Goodmayes at 7.30pm. The footballers played the first round of the League against Garryowen on Sunday. The final score was Thomas McCurtains 1-11, Garryowen 1-12. Men’s hurling training continues Tuesdays and Thursdays in Goodmayes at 7.30pm.

Ladies training takes place in East London Rugby Club (E15 3BP) Tuesday 7pm and Goodmayes pitch Thursday 7pm

Garryowen

Garryowen got their 2015 league campaign off to a winning start by beating Thomas McCurtains by a scoreline of 1-11 to 1-10 in Goodmayes on Sunday. Our next match takes places on Tuesday, May 5 in Greenford, throw in at 7pm against Heston Gaels. Training continues this Thursday at The Pavilion, Milton Avenue, NW10 8EU. St Anthonys

Men’s training continues this week on Tuesday and Thursday night at 7pm in King’s Meadow. The first round of the championship takes place this Saturday, May 2, when we travel to Greenford to take on Crawley/Brighton Gaels. The ladies continue their training at 7pm on Wednesday evening, and 10am Saturday morning in King’s Meadow.

Holloway Gaels

Training takes place Monday and Wednesday evenings at 7pm and on Saturday mornings at 10am at Downhills Park N17 6AP. If interested in coming training please contact [email protected].
