AIDAN Harte scored the equalising point as Galway drew with Dublin in the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship.

Galway started brightly with Joseph Cooney’s 19th minute goal edging them 1-9 to 0-11 ahead at the break.

After the restart Dublin improved with David Treacy sharp from frees, but Harte’s late effort ensures a replay will be required at Tullamore next Saturday.

Diarmuid Connolly, Paul Flynn, Bernard Brogan, and Dean Rock grabbed the goals as Dublin cruised to an easy win over Longford at Croke Park.

Sean Quigley’s late goal from a penalty ensured Fermanagh shrugged of Antrim’s resistance at Brewster Park.

Despite the first half dismissal of Sean McVeigh the Saffrons battled against Fermanagh, who set up a provincial semi-final meeting with Monaghan.

In Munster Tipp destroyed Waterford at Thurles doing most of the damage in the opening period as Peter Creedon’s team led 1-13 to 0-3 at half-time.

Steven O’Brien impressed at midfield while Michael Quinlivan scored an opportunistic 25th minute goal.
