Spartan Angel is a lightly raced seven year old who creeps in here at the foot of the weights.
She has only had a handful of starts and has won three of them. Barry Geraghty rides and despite a three month lay-off Spartan Angel is another who has gone well following similar breaks in the past. There is no doubt that this will be the toughest opposition that she has faced to date, but she is certainly housed in the right yard that will conjure further improvement from her. She has already beaten Queen Of The Stage out of sight in the past and can confirm that form.

Gimme Five warmed up for this race with an outing on the flat at Lingfield last month.
He was beaten less than a length by an in form and race fit Coup De Grace. That run should have blown away any cobwebs. Wayne Hutchinson has won on him before and Alan King will be keen to atone for a disappointing Cheltenham Festival. This four year old commands utmost respect.
