FORMER Manchester United captain Roy Keane has given a damning assessment of his old club’s current player, Ashley Young, suggesting he’s not fit to wear the shirt.
The winger has created a reputation for himself as a 'diver' and his latest episode during United’s 1-0 win over CSKA Moscow on Tuesday has been branded ‘disgraceful’ by an irate Keane.
"If he’s a Manchester United player, I’m a Chinaman. It's absolutely disgraceful," said Keane during his punditry slot on ITV.
"The senior players need to get hold of him. That shouldn't be accepted at Manchester United.”
The Irishman’s comments carry a great deal of weight, with Keane having played 480 times for the Red Devils, winning 17 trophies.
