RORY McIlroy is back in the swing of things as he attempts to defend his US PGA Championship title at Whistling Straits, Wisconsin, this weekend.
The world number one carded a score of 71 on the opening day of the event, and he marked his comeback from an ankle injury with the shot of the day on Thursday.
After landing on the water’s edge on the fifth hole, McIlroy was forced to get his feet wet, but with good cause as he rescued a par by chipping the ball onto the green.
McIlroy finished Day One five shots off the lead, but he's up and running on Day Two with plenty of time to recover. Watch the Irishman at his best below, while the cameramen also deserves credit for some fine footage.
