PARALYSED former jockey Jonjo Bright is on the road to recovery thanks to the aid of an exoskeleton bionic suit.
The technology was paid for by the Irish Injured Jockeys (IIJ), a charity set up last year to support riders who suffer serious injury.
Antrim native Bright broke his neck in a riding accident at the age of just 19 n 2013, but with the help of IIJ and the IRFU Charitable Trust, who also contributed financially, he has taken his first steps since.
He’s the first jockey to use the ground-breaking equipment, and the heart-warming moment was captured by Irish Horse TV.
