DUBLINER Conor Sammon has produced arguably the miss of the season so far in only his fifth game for his new club Sheffield United.
The former Wigan striker, who is on loan at the Blades from Derby County, was guilty of a comically bad attempt with the goal gaping during a 2-0 win over Blackpool.
Sammon has nine caps for the Republic of Ireland – without scoring – and he won’t be earning a recall any time soon if he continues to shoot like this.
To Sammon’s credit, he has a decent return of two goals in his first five games for Sheffield United.
