AN UPCOMING documentary about Irish racing legend AP McCoy has been selected for next month’s Toronto International Film Festival.
Titled Being AP, the feature film documents McCoy’s personal and professional life throughout the final year of his record-breaking career as a jump jockey.
It premieres before an international audience in Canada on September 14, while the British premier is on November 23. A theatrical release across the Britain and Ireland will follow.
Having been crowned champion for the 20th consecutive time in April, Antrim native McCoy is widely considered the best jump jockey of all time. Have a look at the engrossing trailer for Being AP above.
