Wafer (21) has been included alongside four other names for the gong. The Irish star is joined by the likes of French flanker Romane Menager, England's full-back Ellie Kildunne, and Italy's wing Alyssa D'Inca.
England's Kildunne is the favourite to claim the award.
Voting closes at 22:00 BST on Tuesday, May 7th. The four nominees have been selected on the basis of the number of fan votes each received for the Team of the Championship, from which a maximum of one nominee from any nation was able to be selected.
