THE European Championships brought out the inner child in a lot of us, including 64-year-old Martin O’Neill it would seem.
After playing the role of pundit on TV3’s coverage of the Euro 2016 final on Sunday, the Republic of Ireland boss still hadn’t had his fill of football.
Having come across a ball behind the scenes at TV3 studios, O’Neill couldn’t resist messing around with it, entertaining onlookers with his ‘keepie uppie’ skills.
But in a child-like playful manner, the former Celtic boss blasted the ball at colleagues, causing it to deflect wildly and set off the studio fire alarm!
On the back of Ireland’s successful showing at the Euros, we’re sure he’ll get away with it.
