IN scenes reminiscent of Ireland’s 1990 World Cup campaign, elated Irish soccer fans took to the streets of Dublin last night to celebrate their side’s incredible 1-0 win over Germany.
Shane Long’s 70th-minute winner will gain legendary status even if Ireland don’t go on to qualify for Euro 2016, and fans were eager to make the most of an extremely rare win over the World Champions.
