A GAA player in Galway has wowed tourists and social media users with his spine-chillingly good version of a Luke Kelly classic.
The Night Visiting Song is the name of the tune and the 45-minute ferry from Inishmore, the largest of the Aran Islands, back to the mainland was the scene.
The boat was packed with players of the Monivea Abbey GAA club following a match across the water, while there was no shortage of tourists on board.
The club’s half-forward Paul Flaherty, who is a huge Luke Kelly fan, soon belted out one of his favourite songs, while his team-mates even joined in to the awe of onlookers.
