Unbelievable Jeff! Sky pundits Jeff Stelling and Chris Kamara to commentate on All-Ireland Football Final

TWO of British football’s most recognisable pundits are set to commentate on this year’s All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Final at Croke Park.

Sky Sports’ Jeff Stelling and Chris Kamara have been travelling the length and breadth of Ireland in a bid to learn enough about GAA football to commentate in front of 80,000 fans in Dublin.

Will it be possible? AIB have sent the pair on the road trip to clubs, communities and counties across the Emerald Isle to find out.

Jeff and Kammy’s trials and tribulations with what is quite literally a whole different ball game will be documented in Jeff and Kammy’s Road to Croker.

The mini-series will air each Monday at 5pm on www.youtube.com/aib, starting on Monday, July 31.

The eight-episode run will culminate in the Hogan Stand press box on September 17 as they test their skills on what is the biggest single event in Irish sport.

Along the way they will meet heroes of the game including Dick Clerkin, Peter Canavan and Jonny Cooper.

The GAA legends will share their stories of club and county as Jeff and Kammy prepare for their mammoth task.

In the first sneak peek from the show it’s clear the pair have a lot to learn – including the correct name for GAA and how to hand pass.

Luckily they have renowned Irish commentator and national treasure Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh on their side to show them the ropes.

The legendary broadcaster will be the first to put them to task, challenging them to commentate on an U15 game in Dingle under his watchful eye.

It’s probably fair to say that Jeff and Kammy may require a few more lessons from Mícheál before heading to Croker.

The 130th All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Final will take place at Croke Park in Dublin on September 17, 2017.
