TWO REALLY promising footballers will be back in the Premier League.
This weekend saw Norwich City get promoted back to the Premier League, and two young Irishmen will be heading up with them.
Adam Idah and Andrew Omobamidele look guaranteed to have a Championship winner's medal to their names, and can look forward to potentially being Premier League players in the coming months.
Idah is in a slightly different situation, as this is not exactly new to him. Somehow, at just 20 years of age, he has already been through all of this before.
Daniel Farke is obviously a fan of the young Corkman. He gave him valuable minutes when the club were in the Premier League last season, with him starting an important game away against Manchester United, and featuring heavily in cup ties.
And back when he was a Premier League player, he really impressed when he was given a chance to start ahead of the extremely talented Teemu Pukki.
It's easy to forget that he was just 18 when he scored an amazing hat-trick in the FA Cup against Preston, and one of his goals was about 40 yards out.
While Idah looks guaranteed to be a part of the club's plans for next season, we're slightly less sure about Omobamidele.
The young Leixlip lad has started the past five games, largely due to injury, but is just 18 years of age, and is still very much being shown the ropes.
He has seriously impressed when given the chance, winning man-of-the-match in his first Championship start, but staying up is imperative for The Canaries next season, and putting that much faith in an 18-year-old at the heart of the defense is probably not the best idea.
So ideally, he'll get a loan move to a decent Championship side, where he will continue to grow and develop.
But it is an excellent position for the two young lads to be in - here's hoping for a big next 12 months.
