Just incase you haven't seen it yet, Castore's new Ireland jersey is a reskin of a Rangers jersey from this season, just in different colours. — Michael Tuohy 🇮🇪 (@MicTuathaigh) March 19, 2023

The new kit has been likened to Rangers fourth kit, which is also made by Castore, and this has not gone down well with some fans of the Irish football teams
Social media users offered their feedback on the new Ireland kit on Monday. Some feedback was complimentary, and some feedback was not so complimentary.
One user on Twitter said, "Golden opportunity to support a uniquely Irish designer like O'Neill's missed and they would have produced a much better effort than this too."
"Just incase you haven't seen it yet, Castore's new Ireland jersey is a reskin of a Rangers jersey from this season, just in different colours. Of all the teams... This isn't going to go down well with fans."
"Please tell me somebody is reading these comments! 99% of your fans hate this jersey/brand! For once listen and do something about it!" said another Twitter account
Other fans on offered a kinder take on the new shirt, "It’s not that bad…. I thought it would be much worse than it is. Looks better on the players," said one.
"Jesus wtf is everyone going mad about the new Ireland kit leak. It’s only a f****g sponsor get over it. Celtic and Rangers had the same sponsor for years. It doesn’t matter as long as we get results and qualify for the Euros," said another account.
The men’s and women’s home kits are now available for pre-order on shop.irelandfootball.ie.
