A HANDY mobile app has come to our attention that could be of great use to GAA club PROs in Britain.
'Club App', available on Google Play and Apple's App Store, allows even the smallest of clubs to document their team's progress efficiently via social media.
Thomas McCurtains are making fine use of it already, posting team line-ups and individual scorers, substitutes and bookings.
A free version of the app is available, while premium customers (€25 per month or €249 per annum) can have players profile pages automatically updated with stats on appearances and scores, all generated as the action happens.
Super HD output of live updates appear automatically on the Irish company's sister product, ClubAppTV, so clubs can show live information updates on clubhouse TV's for away matches that members cannot travel to.
At this time of year, the club scene can often a be a difficult one to report accurately as team sheets are often illegible, inaccurate or incomplete, but 'Club App' can help all concerned.
