The Ireland U20 squad to play against the France U20's at Musgrave Park this Friday is out

THE IRELAND U20 squad to play against the France U20's at Musgrave Park this Friday is out. 

Ireland head coach Ritchie Murphy have made one change to the team that beat Wales in the opening round.  

Henry McErlean comes in at full back. Ike Anagu and Hugh Gavi start on the wings.  

Gus McCarthy, once again captains Ireland from the front row. He's joined in the front pack by George Hadden and Paddy McCarthy.  

Hugh Cooney and John Devine start as a midfield partnership.  



 

Sam Prendergast and Fintan Gunne start at 10 and 9.  

Diarmuid Mangan and Conor O’Tighearnaigh start in the second row.  

James McNabney, Ruadhán Quinn and Brian Gleeson get the nod in the back row. 

Speaking ahead of the game, Murphy said: “We were pleased to open the Six Nations with a bonus point win away from home, but we know there are areas of improvement for us heading into Friday night. We have put the head down in Cork this week and are hugely excited to get back to Musgrave Park and play in front of another big home crowd.” 

Kick-off is at 8pm, Friday.
