The final shortlist for the PwC Football All-Star team for 2024 was announced today. All-Ireland winners Armagh have six players included in the final 15, with Aidan Forker, Barry McCambridge, Ben Crealey, Rian O’Neill, Oisín Conaty, and Conor Turbitt representing the Orchard County.
Five other counties have players in the mix. Craig Lennon is selected for Louth, Niall Morgan for Tyrone, and for Galway, Johnny McGrath, Dylan McHugh, Paul Conroy (St James’s), Rob Finnerty, and the other Paul Conroy (Salthill-Knocknacarra) make the list. Ulster champions Donegal are also represented by Peadar Mogan and Oisín Gallen.

We play a team game, but we’ve always reserved a special place for those Laochra Gael who reach extraordinary heights and make standout contributions.

The PwC All-Stars, selected by a panel of Gaelic Games correspondents across various media, will be awarded at a black tie banquet tomorrow at the RDS. The show will broadcast live on RTÉ at 7 p.m. Also, the PwC GAA/GPA Footballer and Hurler of the Year, Young Players of the Year, and the PwC Hurling All-Stars will also be announced live on the night.
