Snyman to make Leinster bow against Benetton

Leinster's squad for their United Rugby Championship clash against Italian side Benetton has been announced, with RG Snyman set to make his debut later today.

The South African, who made the switch from rivals Munster, will finally showcase his skillset in blue as Leinster face Benetton in Italy. Snyman is one of 12 changes made by head coach Leo Cullen for this game.

In the forwards, Snyman starts in the second row alongside Joe McCarthy. The Irish trio of Andrew Porter, Rónan Kelleher, and Tadhg Furlong form the front row. The forward pack is rounded out by Josh van der Flier, Jack Conan, and captain Caelan Doris.

In the backline, Cullen has named a back three of Hugo Keenan, Jimmy O'Brien, and James Lowe. The midfield features Gary Ringrose and Jamie Osborne, while Ciaran Frawley and Jamison Gibson-Park complete the side as the half-back pairing.

Leinster’s bench includes Lee Barron, Michael Milne, Thomas Clarkson, Ryan Baird, Brian Deeny, Scott Penny, Fintan Gunne, and Ross Byrne, offering both forward and backline options.

Kick-off is at 6:15 pm local time (5:15 pm Irish time), and the match will be broadcast live on RTÉ 2 and Premier Sports 1.
