SKY SPORTS have poked fun at themselves following their latest GAA gaffe.
Last week, we brought you the video of Sky Sports News presenter Clare Tomlinson referring to Dublin’s draw with Mayo as the ‘All-England final’.
The footage has gone viral and, ahead of the All-Ireland Senior Football final replay this Saturday, their social media channels are still taking flak.
“For those asking, yes we are showing the All-England football final replay on 1st October, throw-in at 5pm,” read a tweet from the Sky Sports GAA twitter account.
The tweet was followed up with a series of tongue-in-check messages about how the first ‘All-England’ final panned out ahead of the replay, swapping Dublin for London and Mayo for Cheshire.
