IRELAND head coach Joe Schmidt expects the forthcoming clash with England to be his side’s ‘toughest test’ during this year’s Six Nations campaign.
Schmidt was speaking from Ireland’s training camp in Clonmel, Co Tipperary where the Irish team have been training amid the harsh weather conditions.
Reflecting on the past two games he said, “so far we’ve learnt it’s always going to be tough. We’ve had a little bit of luck go our way at the moment. That’s allowed us to be on top at the moment but the really tough games are coming up and probably the toughest one of all, againist England, in 10 days time.”
Ireland go into their Triple Crown decider as group leaders following comprehensive victories over Scotland and Wales in Dublin.
