THE LONG-AWAITED REMATCH BETWEEN IRELAND'S KATIE TAYLOR and Amanda Serrano in Dublin has been postponed.
Serrano and Taylor fought in Madison Square Garden last April in what was dubbed as 'the greatest womens fight of all time'.
Taylor won by split decision in New York and talk of a rematch has been in the works ever since.
The pair were due to fight on May 20 in the 3Arena in Dublin, but reports says the rematch between the Bray native and the Puerto Rican will now not go ahead.
Serrano is reported to have picked up an injury from her training and won't be able to make the May date with Taylor.

Taylor, a Bray native has never fought on Irish soil as a professional was expected to headline a show at Croke Park on May 20.
Taylor's promoter Eddie Hearn and his company Matchroom boxing had tried to get the second bout in the Dublin venue, but the GAA and the boxing promotions company could not agree a deal because of proposed security costs at the event.
The Serrano and Taylor rematch will now most likely be lined up for September and will fit in with Croke Park autumn plans perfectly. Matchroom are planning to stage an event around that time.
Taylor's opponent on May 20 in the 3Arena could come in the form of Chantelle Cameron’s, Mellisa St Vil, Heather Hardy, Estelle Mossely, or Natasha Jonas.
A statement from Taylor’s promoter Matchroom Boxing read: "Due to an injury sustained by Amanda Serrano, Matchroom Boxing and Most Valuable Promotions regret to announce that the Taylor-Serrano II bout on 20 May in Dublin will not go ahead as planned.
"The teams are in discussions about finding a revised date for the bout."
