RTÉ and BBC NI unveil broadcast schedules for Allianz League season

RTÉ and BBC NI have announced their Allianz Football and Hurling League schedules for the year.

RTÉ will broadcast six Allianz Football League Division 1 and two Allianz Hurling League Division 1 games, starting with the football clash between Kerry and Derry in Tralee on Saturday, January 27.

The following weekend will feature a showdown between league holders Mayo and All-Ireland champions Dublin in Castlebar. Fans can catch both games live on RTÉ2 and the RTÉ Player.

There are three more football matches on each of the following weekends, with Kerry and then Tyrone hosting Mayo, and Dublin taking to the road to play against Derry in Celtic Park on Saturday, March 4.

Limerick will play Tipperary on Saturday, March 9, and the group stage coverage rounds out with Galway against Dublin in football at Pearse Stadium on Saturday, March 16.

For hurling fans, the Allianz Hurling League coverage kicks off on Saturday, February 10, featuring Cork hosting Kilkenny. This will also be on RTÉ2 and the RTÉ Player.

TG4 and BBC NI will also broadcast live Allianz League games throughout the spring.

BBC Sport NI's coverage of the 2024 Allianz Football and Hurling Leagues includes eight matches on the iPlayer:

Armagh and Donegal in Division Two, scheduled for Sunday, February 25, at the Box-It Athletic Grounds. Armagh will also play Louth on January 27 and visit Brewster Park on March 2. Fermanagh also secured three live slots, with games against Donegal on February 17 and Kildare on February 3.

TG4 will also be showing games from the Allianz League as well as from the Lidl Ladies Football National League, details of which have yet to be finalised.
