Rory Jennings pens new deal with Irish

London Irish have confirmed that Rory Jennings has signed a new contract with the Club.

Jennings, who has been in brilliant form this season, has made 24 appearances in the Exiles jersey since his arrival before the 2021/22 campaign.

Jennings has become a regular in Irish’s starting line-up, having transitioned recently to inside centre from his usual fly-half position.

The versatile back joined the Club after stints at ASM Clermont Auvergne, Coventry Rugby, and Bath Rugby.

The big try-saving tackle in London Irish’s victory over Sale Sharks and his cool composure from the kicking tee have seen Jennings become a favourite with the Exile Nation supporters.

“Everyone at the Club is very pleased that Rory has chosen to continue his journey with us,” said Declan Kidney, Director of Rugby.

“Rory is a brilliant character, both on and off the field, and has become a key figure in our squad.

“His development since his arrival has been great and we look forward to seeing him continue to make his mark in the London Irish shirt.”

“It was a no brainer to continue my time here at Irish,” said Jennings.

“London Irish has quickly become my home and I’m really excited about what the future holds here.

“We have important matches coming up over the next few months and it’s exciting to be fighting for domestic honours. It’s exactly where this Club and the supporters deserves to be.”
