Review: The Official Rugby World Cup Review DVD

IRISH rugby fans can re-live Ireland's rollercoaster Rugby World Cup campaign via The Official Review DVD, which was released on Monday.

The DVD features everything from footage of the “extravagant” opening ceremony in Twickenham, to the All Blacks becoming the first nation to secure back-to-back World Cup triumphs.

In between all that, Ireland's journey is documented, from their early success against minnows Georgia and Canada, to their monumental wins over Italy and France.

That said, the injuries which blighted the France win and the subsequent thrashing by Argentina are equally documented, though it's a little easier to watch now that the dust has settled on a memorable campaign.

Aside from Ireland's involvement, there's also plenty for Irish rugby fans to enjoy, from England's humiliating exit as hosts, to Japan's remarkable win over South Africa in the Pool stages.

Every game of the eighth instalment of the Rugby World Cup is concisely covered here, making it an ideal watch this Christmas to reflect on one of the biggest events of 2015.

Exclusive interviews with the victorious New Zealand stars round off a thoroughly entertaining watch.
