WHAT A week Rachael Blackmore is having.
The Tipperary jockey made history on Tuesday by becoming the first woman to win the coveted Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham.
Then Thursday evening saw her strengthen her lead in the race to be top jockey at Cheltenham with victory on Telmesomethinggirl in the Parnell Properties Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle at 4.15.
Like many of Blackmore's winners this week, Telmesomethinggirl is trained by Waterford's Henry de Bromhead, with the two seemingly forming a magnificent duo.
Blackmore seems an extremely strong contender for top jockey after performances which were referred to as "immaculate" by commentators on the day.
At The Races put it brilliantly with this tweet during the day:

You love to see it.
While Blackmore herself is a picture of modesty, horse racing legend AP McCoy was more than willing to give her her flowers while speaking on Tuesday.
He said: "She walks the walk more than she talks the talk.
"I thought it would be really hard for a girl to be champion jockey, but she could easily be. She's got it all. She's as good as any girl I've ever seen on a horse."
