The Republic of Ireland play a crucial UEFA EURO 2024 qualifier against the Netherlands at the Aviva Stadium tonight.
Despite a spirited performance against France, Ireland are aiming for a vital win to stay in the qualification race. Matt Doherty returns from suspension, while Sinclair Armstrong and Jonathan Afolabi step in for the injured Will Keane. Unfortunately, Enda Stevens is ruled out due to an injury.
The game in Dublin is a sold-out and Ireland manager Stephen Kenny has said his Ireland side are ready to embrace any challange the Dutch throw at them.
"It's a great game, Sunday night in Dublin, in the Aviva Stadium, the anticipation, it's a sellout for a long time, people are excited about the game, it has a real edge to it.
"Holland have a great tradition, they've had a lot of great teams. [That] was their best performance against Greece, they changed things around tactically and they played very well. So it's a very, very tough challenge ahead against Holland but one that we're happy to embrace and take on. We're excited by the game.𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛-𝗗𝗔𝗬 🥳
