LONDON Irish Rugby Club has announced a new two year sponsorship deal with Powerday plc.
The family owned UK recycling company will sponsor the Aviva premiership team until the end of the season 2015/16.
Powerday plc has been a long term supporter of London Irish Rugby Club, including a ten year backing of the London Irish Academy.
Mick Crossan, Chairman of Powerday plc and President of London Irish Rugby Club led a consortium of Irish businessmen in acquiring a majority share of London Irish Rugby Club in 2013.
Speaking about the new deal Mr Crossan stated, "Powerday is delighted to continue to be the title sponsor of London Irish Rugby.
"The family values and unique combination of the professional and amateur clubs touch all levels of the sport…and fit in well with the Powerdays’ core values and ongoing community and business initiatives. We look forward to being part of this new and exciting era for London Irish.’’
