NORTHERN Ireland manager Michael O’Neill was hoisted aloft after guiding the nation to qualification for their first major international tournament since 1986.
A 3-1 win over Greece in Belfast on Thursday night ensured a top-two finish in their Qualifying Group F, meaning they automatically advance to the European Championships in France next summer.
They currently sit top of their group and a draw against Finland on Sunday will see them finish top. The 24-team tournament in 2016 will their first since the World Cup in Mexico in 1986.
