Osam names Ireland MU16s squad for Switzerland test

Republic of Ireland Men’s Under-16s Head Coach Paul Osam has named a 20-player squad for a friendly double-header against Switzerland in Spain next week. 

There’s a first time call-up for Malaga CF’s Aaron Ochoa Moloney, with Jaden Umeh and Ade Solanke among the squad having played a part in the MU15s’ season.

Six players, who have been called into the Colin O’Brien’s MU17 squad, will return to play with the MU16s for the games – Marcus Gill, Kaylem Harnett, Matthew Moore, Matthew Murray, Ike Orazi and Mason Melia.

The games will take place in Oliva Nova, Spain on Wednesday, February 15 and Friday, February 17.
