ON July 25, 1997, not many eyebrows were raised when Celtic boss Wim Jansen paid a relative pittance (£650,000) for a Swedish player by the name of Henrik Larsson.
But that date that will go down in Celtic history given the impact he would have in the East End of Glasgow.
The future didn't look bright when he gifted Hibernian a winner on his league debut, before going on to score an own-goal in his first European appearance for the Hoops.
However he went on to score 174 league goals for Celtic and 242 in total to become a club legend, and was the only non-Scot named in Celtic's greatest ever team in 2002.
After four league titles, three Scottish Cups, two Scottish League Cups and a UEFA Cup runners-up medal, he joined Barcelona, where he won two La Liga titles and the Champions League.
