Nick Timoney and Ciaran Frawley have been called into Andy Farrell's Ireland side ahead of the Scotland game at Murray field this coming Sunday.
Ireland are on course to secure another Grand Slam and Six Nations title but will face a stern test against the Scottish this weekend.
Ulster's Timoney and Leinster's Frawley have been included in the Ireland squad for the first time this campaign.
Both players were in United Rugby Championship action with their respective provinces last weekend.
Frawley can cover several positions like center, out-half, and full-back and will add much needed versatility to a depleted Ireland team ravaged with injuries.
The Skerries native has been out of action since picking up a knee injury while playing for Ireland ‘A’ against an All Blacks XV in early November but featured in Leinster's win against Edinburgh.

Back rower Timoney's last Ireland game was against Fiji in November.
Leinster's Jamie Osborne and Scott Penny, who trained with the squad ahead of Round 3, are unavailable having picked up minor knocks playing for Leinster against Edinburgh last weekend.
The 37-man group also includes Sexton, Jamison Gibson-Park, Garry Ringrose, James Lowe, and Stuart McCloskey who have recently suffered injuries.
If Ireland beat Scotland, they will then play a Grand Slam decider against England at the Aviva Stadium for their final game on Saturday, March 18.
Ireland's game against Scotland on Sunday starts at 3pm.
You can see the game live on RTE TWO.
