Dublin manager Mick Bohan has admitted that he admires the way Kerry play football ahead of their meeting on Sunday in Croke Park.
Both sides can end their own trophy droughts this week with a victory over one another. It has been three years since Dublin lifted the Brendan Martin Cup, while it has been even longer for Kerry. The Kingdom has had to wait 30 years for another title. Their last came in 1993. Kerry also lost last year's final to Meath.
Dublin will be favorites for the tie, but Bohan admitted that nothing will be taken for granted when they take on their arch-rivals in the capital on Sunday.
"I like the way they play; they play the game on the front foot. They are extremely well-conditioned and compete for absolutely everything, so I see this being a really good contest," said Bohan to GAA.ie this week.
“We know we are up against a team that was probably a little bit ahead of us from the point of view of where they are at with their squad. They are in their fifth year of development, while we have a combined group—some of the older girls who are here for their seventh campaign or around that, and obviously some of the new guns in for their first one.
Mick Bohan was certain he was stepping down as @dublinladiesg manager after last year's All-Ireland Quarter-Final defeat, and even when he decided to stay in the role he didn't imagine they'd end up contesting this year's All-Ireland Final against @kerryladiesfoot. #GAABelong

“These are the challenges you want in sport. If you are going out assuming this is a done deal or whatever else, there is no challenge in it."
Having also admitted that he didn't think that Dublin would reach another All-Ireland final year after a raft of changes, Bohan admits that the challenge at hand will be difficult for his side on Sunday.
