Ireland's James McClean has agreed to a new two-year deal with League One side Wrexham.
The Derry native joined the club from Wigan last summer and enjoyed an excellent debut campaign with the Welsh side.
McClean made 44 appearances across all competitions. He also captained the club on several occasions as they finished second in League Two, securing promotion to the third tier of English football last season.
McClean, who has previously played for clubs like West Brom, Sunderland, Stoke City, and others, admitted that he was delighted to extend his stay in Wales.

“I’m obviously delighted. Since I’ve been here, I’ve really enjoyed it, and to be given the opportunity to continue that for another two seasons is something I’m really looking forward to,” said McClean.
McClean also hopes for more success as he continues to play at the Racecourse Ground.
“It’s been successful so far, and hopefully there’s more success to come over the next two seasons.”
Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson added that he was pleased McClean signed a new deal: “We’re pleased James has signed a new contract. He was excellent for us last season, and we’re looking forward to continuing to work with him.”
